Answers to your frequently asked questions
-
Can you hold a place before I apply?
Properties at Terran Terrace LLC are leased on a first-come, first-served basis once a completed application and required fees are received, so we recommend submitting your application promptly to secure a luxury rental for young professionals. -
Do I pay the first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Move-in costs vary by property; typically you’ll pay first month’s rent and a security deposit before move-in, and some residences may also require the last month’s rent—check the specific listing or lease for exact move-in requirements. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
Applicants must be of legal age to enter a lease agreement, generally 18 years or older. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Security deposits are generally refundable if the unit is returned in good condition, accounting for normal wear and tear; deductions may be made for unpaid rent, damages beyond normal wear, or required cleaning, per the lease and state law. -
Who needs a cosigner?
A cosigner may be required when an applicant’s income, credit, or rental history does not meet underwriting criteria; cosigners must meet financial qualifications and sign a guarantor agreement. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
Apply online or in person with a completed application, application fee, and supporting documents such as proof of income and government ID; applying early helps secure a Terran Terrace luxury apartment with modern amenities and reliable connectivity. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent is typically paid through our tenant portal, by automatic bank transfer, or by check/money order depending on the property—online payments and autopay are encouraged for convenience and timely processing. -
I want to get a pet. What should I do?
Review your lease and contact management before bringing a pet; many properties allow pets with an additional pet deposit or monthly pet rent and may have size, breed, or unit restrictions—approval is required in advance. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What should I do?
All tenants on the lease remain responsible for the lease until it ends; if one tenant wishes to stay, they must qualify on their own or find a replacement approved by management, following our standard screening and assignment process. -
My lease expiration is coming, and I want to move out. What should I do?
Provide written notice of your intent to vacate in accordance with your lease’s notice period, review the move-out checklist, and schedule a final inspection to help ensure timely return of your security deposit. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
